Prep for Cork Forest Rally underway….

Well, preparations for the Jim Walsh Cork Forest Rally are underway in the Red Mist shed. The rally is Sunday and the WhatsApp has started to wake up. The navigators are talking about time and distance schedules and other associated nonsense.

It should be an interesting event as we’ll have two full “Red Mist” cars in Damien and Ian’s buses and one “temporary member” in Colin’s Fiesta. The seeding has Damien at 247, Colin at 238 and Ian at 223 so mark it into your schedules not to miss us.

There’s rumours of nights spent watching videos of a car driving slowly. I’ve also heard something about “square left” and “oh, that’s a quare one!”.

As for “preparation” for the event, if you want some idea of how it’s going, we asked “someone” to wash Bitzy and they missed just a little bit….

During preparation of the chariots, I washed the seats of the cars (yes I’m a detail freak). I’m not going to reveal who’s seat I washed to get this much crap out of. Answers on the back of a 50 euro note. The Bissell had to be rinsed due to the mud in the bottom of the wash tank.
