Final preparations for Cork Forest Rally

Final preparations took place last night for the Jim Walsh Cork Forest Rally with two buses loaded and ready.

Damien somehow managed to sweet talk Joe into providing a VIP service so Joe took the Fiesty away last night. Joe is even taking the car through scrutiny and all. Damien just has to turn up Sunday morning and drive. He doesn’t have to worry about scrutiny the day before, door numbers, etc. Next thing he’ll want his driving boots heated to keep his little toes warm….

Latest reports is that Joe has the car tucked up in his shed so no doubt “someone” will be double checking everything with Greg standing over casting an eye triple checking everything.

As for Bitzy, ya it was loaded also and crammed back into the shed. Preparations were in a kinda “sure it’ll be grand, we’ve a new shiny Ford bus to fawn over” way but the polish was only half broken out.

There it is, waiting to be loaded onto a trailer while the shedmate is off to Limerick….
