So close and yet so far…. admin, October 8, 2023October 24, 2023 Well, we almost made it. We finished second in class in the Willie Loughman Carrick forest rally today. That means we came second in class 11F in the national forest championship……. A full proper review of the year will end up here shortly but special thanks to O’Donovan Engineering, Pi Cycles and MCG Autostyling. As for the event, it was the usual melee. Another headlight (or two) were sacrificed during the day. There’s something wrong that we go through more headlights than tyres. Some improvements were tried out for the day. We managed to bring a fruit bowl to service. The usual crew were in service. Joe couldn’t make it for the full day but managed to make it in time to load the car. We managed to stop Damien being distracted by shiny Citroen C3 cars and running off. Jason actually got dirty, Lorraine plied us with food all day and I cleaned the windows (without a hammer being used). Now, what’s next for Bitzy? Home first! Time will tell but a good wash is on the list! Cars Macca Rallies

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, we were not competing. Something called “work” got in the way and there was one crew member at “work”.
