Final Round Preparations Ian McCarthy, October 5, 2023October 24, 2023 Final Round Preparations So we have arrived at the last round of what has been a challenging year. Going to Carrick on Suir leading the championship by 1 point. No pressure there then. The car is pretty good but have some oily work tonight and some changing out of brake components from mcg autostyling to aid reliability. Then we must deal with the crisis that always happens the day you should be loading the car. This is normally in the form of a broken or sized bolt or an electrical issue. By god I hate them ones. We are all getting tired now and just need one last good performance and we can all hold our heads up high and say we gave it everything. The group of friends I have, a little knowledge and a lot of luck have seen us this far and to those friends I can only say thank you. If any of those friends are reading this, I’ll be at the shed later and ye better be there or there will be no biscuits. See ye all on the stages Sunday. Â Rallies
