Hang on, how did we get second in class? admin, June 25, 2023September 26, 2023 Something went wrong on today’s Moonraker Forest Rally. We got second in class 11F with Bitsy surviving, somehow….. Yours truly was stuck in service and I didn’t see any stages. The photo above was taken after a successful day in the woods for the Red Mist gang. Naturally, we had a few “incidents”. First was breaking ANOTHER headlight (they are almost consumable) and breaking a mudflap bracket off on Patrick’s side naturally. Naturally we had a fun day with plenty of help from the usual suspects. Joe provided actual technical knowledge and ability. Anna kept us on track and fed. Fiona also provided grub and had to make a dash for petrol. Damien dashed in during the day as he was only a part time helper. He was muttering something about a cable tie. As he was only a part timer today, we had a special chair set up in our picnic area. Bitsy before we set off for a day in the woods. Well, Bitsy is being shoved into the shed now and the fettling for Cork Forest Rally will commence shortly. Special thanks to PI Cycles, Mallow and O’Donovan Engineering, Coachford. Macca Rallies

We have decided to go for some super lightweight brakes at the back. I know some will say that’s just the hub and the calipers have been… Read More
Roll on the whacking of the bush….. September 17, 2024September 17, 2024 Its almost time for the Red Mist venture “up north” for the Bushwhacker. In a change to last year’s event, carrots are off the menu as there’s no night stages this year (boo hoo!). However, it does mean that Bitzy won’t get to munch on plastic coated copper this year…… Read More
We are home from the 1000 Shakes….. January 21, 2024January 27, 2024 Well, we made it home from the 1000 Shakes Night Navigation Trial ran by the Cork Motor Club. We were watching Car 4, piloted by Gar Collins and “ably” guided by our own Patrick O’Sullivan. They finished sixth overall and second in class. Damien and Macca were “doing” recovery for… Read More
