And back to the shed… admin, April 19, 2025April 19, 2025 We are back in the shed after the Moonraker adventure with the little Fiesta. I don’t know why it’s called little when it’s a lot more spacious inside than Macca’s Civic. Why are some things called “little” or “small” when they are measurable not? Also, why is a Wagon Wheel not …..muffled sounds of someone being dragged away from a keyboard…… [puts on posh voice and straightens tie] Apologies for the last outburst. The person has been “reminded physically” of the standards of this website and measures have been taken to ensure it doesn’t happen again. So, carry on…. So back to the Moonraker debrief. The Fiesta actually made it into the shed for a bit of an examination. We had to use the ground as a certain French vehicle was hogging the ramp. So, what did we find? Besides 27kg or so of dust that got EVERYWHERE, not much to be honest. Ya there are a few things to be tightened and tweaked but what’s new in forest rallying. There was talk of long things and roundy things but honestly, the words were far too technical for me. The only round thing I understand is a jammy doughnut. Custard ones should be banned also by the way ….[Editor here. Watch it bucko!]…. So, what’s next? There are rumours of a trip to Tipp in a few weeks so that’ll be fun. Oh, by the way. Some people (the one or two brave souls that visit here) spotted a Yaris in recent articles. Would you believe it survived it’s first Endurance Rally with Owen Murphy being guided by Patrick from this parish. They finished fifth overall. A good result I believe. Cars Damien Rallies

Also, it was a very successful first run for Damien’s new Fiesta. The gang of people hanging onto the spanners were Joe, Mike and Daniel providing actual technical ability. They were ably assisted by… Read More

The morning didn’t look like that would happen at all….. The day got better when Colin Neligan and Eoin O’Donoghue grabbed third in class 11F. That bloody Fiesta… Read More
