We are home from West Cork Rally. admin, March 20, 2025March 20, 2025 Well, we are all home from Cork Motor Club’s fantastic West Cork Rally. Well, those that headed down are all home. Others, who shall remain nameless didn’t bother to go down (for shame, for shame). Damien and Macca went down to give Owen Murphy a hand and went doing gravel notes. They must have done something right as Owen was happy with his weekend adventure. Yes, they were very busy eating ice-cream….. That being said, some troubling reports have reached Red Mist HQ of Damien and Macca both being confused as to what the shiny black stuff the cars were on. Turns out that both have competed on gravel for so long they got confused and failed to remember that sometimes cars compete on tarmac roads also. It also explains why they kept trying to look for gravel roads and turned into some farmers lanes…. Surprisingly, Macca even managed to take some pictures of cars in action… In a rather unexpected surprise, Macca and Damien even managed to bump into the marshals the met at Walters Arena when a certain “RAC Adventure” took place. So, we are back to the shed to get ready for proper rallying, on gravel… Damien Macca Rallies
