A mixed day in Carrick.. admin, April 16, 2024April 16, 2024 Well, we are home from Carrick Forest Rally and it was a mixed bag. We had a first in class for Macca and unfortunately Colin had to be collected as he didn’t make it out of Stage 4. Macca and Patrick again finished first in class 11F. Two “first in class” puts a nice start to the season. “Normal” service resumed when the navigators headlight was again sacrificed in the cause of going (somewhat) fast… We had a few watchers who sent in some blurry video footage. Ya we know that he looks like he forgot to press the loud pedal fully in the first one…. We had Damien on the spanners, Jason on catering and fuel (that explains the funny taste of the sausages), myself on cleaning duties and Vincy on keeping us looking glamorous (while taking the scenic route to Stage 5)…. Colin and Bernard were motoring well in that Fiesta until Stage 4. We found a clip of him clipping along on YouTube. Thanks to whoever took that footage. What’s next on the loose stuff? Head home and roll on Cork Forestry…. Right, where did we put the Haynes Manual for Fiesta’s? Cars Damien Macca Rallies
