The hunt for the 10mm continues admin, March 7, 2026March 7, 2026 Typical. “Someone” claims to have dropped a 10mm socket “in the engine bay” and this is the result of the hunt for that damn elusive socket! Now, I can’t confirm the rumour that that the socket was lost elsewhere but the hunt has been long, extensive and frustrating. We found loads of random items (who stores spare socks under a battery tray?) but alas, no socket. We even jacked the car up high at one side in the hope that the socket (or a fiver) would fall out. We sent the engine off (to someone with more mechanical skills) to see if it’s in there. We even took Macca’s seat out (and I threatened to burn it if I have to clean it). Damn socket! Cars Macca
